I've smoked pot for most of my adult life (okay, high school, too). It was always recreational until around 1997, when I started smoking at least once a day and began packing on the pounds. A crappy relationship and a career tumble made things worse, and by Thanksgiving 2005, I was smoking constantly and had ballooned to 75 pounds above an acceptable weight. I decided to ditch the weed for one year, lose 75 pounds, and blog daily ... The pot was no problem, but I only managed to drop 40 pounds. Then I got all complacent, fell head-over-heels for an amazing woman (blog name: "Tea"), started smoking again, and promptly began gaining weight. I've now gained back 20something pounds and I am not amused.
